In the ' Portfolio' I entered this in the 'nature' category (along with "Rebel' [link] for ' Portrait' and 'Light Trails' [link] for ' Pictorial'.
This one was placed in the centre to balance the other two that had red in them.

Love the composition of this. See, now you do have a natural eye. Everytime I've done a shot like this I've always put the trunk centrally. Never thought to do what you have done. Well done. :-)

I only put the trunk like that because I read somewhere. something about photos shold draw your eye from left to right.... or something to that effect.

You're welcome and yes that is very true. By drawing your eye from left to right they it's drawing you eye into the photo and not out of it. Probably has something to do with the fact that we read from left to right. I remember at a camera club meeting a few years ago, the founding member judged a competition and stated the exact same thing and demonstrated by flipping the photo around so that we were looking at the back of the photo. With the light box behind it were able to see the image on the other side mirrored. It did indeed improve the photo dramatically. :-)
